So all your work that you have created in the past in Flash you can recreate in Animate to work in html5 in Captivate. From Captivate you can talk to the widget using javascript with the Captivate Javascript API. So if you have worked with Flash in the past you can recreated your previous flash actionscript content in javascript / css in Animate and bring that content in Captivate when publishing to html5. This content or “html widget” can be brought into Captivate as Media > HTML Animation. Rather than programming in Action Script – Javascript can be used in Animate to program interactivity into interactions, games etc in Animate. Adobe re-branded and recreated Adobe Flash as Adobe Animate and added the ability to work with canvas and javascript / css (html5 standards) in Animate. Specify other properties for the question slide in the Quiz Properties panel. You can replace True and False with Yes and No if required. To establish the correct answer, click the correct answerTrue or Falseon stage. Captivate output going forward will primarily be html5 with no support for swf. Double-click the placeholder question to edit it and type your question. Selecting a region changes the language and/or content on the past Adobe Flash was used to create “widgets in swf format” that would work in Captivate as the primary output was flash for Captivate. Click the Interactions button on the Main toolbar. Also add a second action in this tab to jump to slide 1 this automatically refreshes the Submit button during runtime. Adobe Captivate Learning Interactions are great interactive templates to present content that is clear, concise and interactive without overwhelming the learner with large amounts of text on the slide in one large paragraph.
